In doing our work in top line growth and customer experience improvement we’ve become big fans of the work of Brian Solis and JESS3. We’ve been following the evolution of their initial visualization of the social media universe called “The Conversation Prism”. We were amazed when we stopped by their site to see three new visualizations: Twiiterverse, Behavior Graphics, and the Social Compass.
Twitterverse explores the add on sites and functionality of 3rd party providers and web sites. Behaviorgraphics is a great attitudinal/behavior segmentation model of who engages in social media and the labeling clearly states the why they engage. Perhaps the most powerful visualization is the social compass. For CMO/CXOs it’s a great roadmap for how to think about extending brand through all things social.
